Before joining the team at Russell Kennedy Lawyers, Shi-Jing gained a breadth of experience at a global professional services firm and a specialised workplace relations firm, giving her a broad view of the challenges and solutions in her field. Her background means she is well-equipped to tackle any workplace issue with clarity and confidence, making Shi-Jing a key member of our firm and a trusted advisor to our clients.

Experience

  • Expertise in guiding employers through all aspects of employment law, from drafting employment contracts and creating workplace policies to navigating the complexities of termination of employment, and organisational restructuring.
  • Representing employers in handling a range of employment-related claims, including unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination, sexual harassment, and bullying matters.
  • Providing advice on the interpretation of legislation including the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), enterprise agreements, modern awards, and employment and contractor agreements.
  • Supporting employers in managing employee absences, underperformance, misconduct, and disciplinary action.
