Daniella acts on behalf of the Victorian WorkCover Authority to analyse Serious Injury Applications, defend Common Law Claims and disputes regarding Statutory Scheme entitlements.

She previously practised as an in-house lawyer for the Transport Accident Commission, and provided advice to Impairment, Serious Injury and Common Law clients. She also has experience in the Commonwealth Compensation scheme. In 2018, Daniella was selected by WorkSafe for a Secondment as a Senior Legal Counsel to instruct Panel Firms with their Common Law Claims.

Experience

  • Representing the Victorian WorkCover Authority in defending serious injury applications, common law damages, and statutory benefit disputes.

  • Conducting litigation on behalf of the Victorian WorkCover Authority in the Supreme, County, and Magistrates' Courts.

  • Experience in areas of WorkCover, Transport Accidents & Commonwealth Compensation and appearing in the Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal and Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
