In August 2017, Russell Kennedy in partnership with accounting firm Pitcher Partners, released an annual benchmarking survey for their clients and contacts in the sector.
The NFP Benchmark Survey focused on areas where regulators collect limited data such as governance, strategy and operations, risk management and volunteers.
The topics and questions from the joint Pitcher Partners & Russell Kennedy benchmark survey are unlikely to be collected as baseline data by other regulators, hopefully making it a valuable resource for the sector.
The survey was launched by David Locke, Assistant Commissioner at the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). David gave an update on the sector and the work that the ACNC is currently undertaking. He also shared with us some of the great progress being made whilst reassuring us all that there are more announcements coming soon.
Our Russell Kennedy presenter Jonathan Teh and Mark Harrison from Pitcher Partners covered some of the key learnings and trends from the survey results and there was a very robust Q&A at the end.
